Since music therapy a) derives theories, research, and practices from various fields, such as psychology, medicine, education, and prestige music training; b) can benefit people across their lifespan; it can take a course to introduce music therapy and answer the questions above.
Hence, I decided to create a collection of video resources that I think are great at demonstrating "music therapy in action."
These videos showcase the application of music in various settings and populations, including medical, children with special needs, dementia care, rehabilitation, community music therapy, performance-based music therapy, and premature babies.

This video shows how a 45-minute neurologic music therapy session improves the patient's walking ability. The patient is able to walk without a cane about 2 times faster and 6 times farther after the session. It is amazing to witness.

Performance-Based Music Therapy:
I implemented and directed the Watch City Singers pilot program during September-December 2019, in collaboration with Powers Music School and Lifetime Arts, LLC.
