Although it is the natural survival mechanism, fear can make our mind be fixated on what is lacking, uncertain, and dangerous while ignoring the "good things."

Is this happening to you right now?

It is important to acknowledge the potential danger so that we could be proactive through our actions (e.g., take preventive measures, reach out, offer support, run errands in a timely manner), so it is to have a solid foundation by extending our awareness to everything we have.

Medium level of anxiety is the ideal place to tackle any challenges.

Various positive psychology research has shown that gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness.

Gratitude helps people in the following aspect:

  • feel more positive emotions

  • relish good experiences

  • improve their health

  • deal with adversity

  • build strong relationships
